Get Ready for a Moisture Surge…July 12th, 2014 at 8:40 pm by chrisgilson under Weather
The monsoon season is off to a decent start for most of the state, but it is going to get even more active over the next 6-7 days. Moisture is going to be moving in from the south and a series of cold fronts will dive into the Northeast keeping the moisture flowing and the storms firing each afternoon.
Eastern New Mexico has been the driest in recent days, but no one will really be left out this time around. By the end of the week, some of New Mexico’s’ mountains could get a couple of inches by Friday. We’ll keep you posted and keep your fingers crossed this pattern holds for us to pick up this rain!!!
