Saturday Night’s Rain TotalsJuly 5th, 2014 at 10:11 pm by chrisgilson under Weather
Storms again fired around New Mexico on Saturday afternoon. First they developed in the mountains then they drifted away from the higher terrain bringing rain to valley locations including Albuquerque. The Northwest side of Albuquerque picked up the most rain with areas receiving almost a 0.50″ of rain in a short period of time.
More storms will develop on Sunday. But, unlike Saturday it won’t be as active. Most of the action will be in Western New Mexico as drier air returns from the east. Shower activity will pick up once again and we’ll talk about that in more detail on KRQE News 13 This Morning on Sunday from 6-8am.
