Fire threat remains very high again today!  It will be dry, windy and hot.  Partly cloudy with highs near 92°, winds near the metro area will be SW 15-25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.  The Northwestern corner of the state will see some of the stronger winds today.  They will be W-SW 25-35mph with gusts as high as 45 mph.  These high winds will not help the fire containment attempts near Gallup.  Most of New Mexico will stay dry today, but a few spot storms will be possible.  We’ll have a much better chance for wet storms tomorrow afternoon for areas in Eastern NM.   Tonight, partly cloudy and mid, lows near 62°, winds turning calm.
