Taos students head to D.C. for science finals

Four students from Taos Middle School are making their way to Washington DC to compete in the eCYBERMISSION finals. Taos Student Scientists Craybotics at Work Anthony, Andrea, Julia, James

ECYBERMISSION is an Army sponsored science competition managed by the National Science Teachers Association and challenges children to identify real world problems and create solutions through science, technology, engineering and math.

The Taos students have been awarded $12,000 for their work and could win another $25,000 in the finals.

These students will also meet Senator Heinrich and Representative Lujan while in DC.

The competition begins June 16th and will go through the the 20th.
