Early Thursday morning, a waste management truck his a power pole near El Pinto, causing power to go out at the restaurant.
To ensure the restaurant could be open for lunch, generators were brought in, according to the general manager.
No one was injured in the accident, according to PNM, but 268 customers in the area lost power. Most of them were expected to have it back by 11 a.m., but PNM says getting power back on at El Pinto would take several more hours.
