Today will feature a mix of sun and clouds a few afternoon storms. Moisture left over from the weekend and lift over the higher terrain will produce some storms. A few more storms could pop up across the east with sufficient moisture in place.

Temperatures continue to warm up through Tuesday. Then a storm system moves north of the state Wednesday into Thursday. This will boost up the winds across much of the state and give the far northern part of New Mexico a chance at a few more showers and storms.

Winds relax Friday as the storm system exits, but another moves in over the weekend. This storm system will drop farther south giving more of the state a shot a showers and storms late Saturday into Sunday. Temps will also drop on the back end of this storm for Sunday.

Clouds bubbling over the Sandia Mountains Monday morning. Even more moisture over the Sangre de Cristo Mountains led to showers there.
