Cold Morning Ahead…March 18th, 2014 at 10:03 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
A very cold morning will setup across the state. Lows will dip down into the teens over the northern mtns while lows will be in the 20′s here in the metro area. By the afternoon temps will rebound a bit over today’s readings but not be much. We will tack on about 3° here in the Rio Grande Valley. Across the southeast temps will actually dip further down into the mid 60′s. By Thursday everyone will begin to warm up in a big way. Albuquerque will rebound into the mid 60′s under sunny skies.
A flat zonal flow will fuel warm temps through Friday. Over the weekend a series a weak back door cold fronts will cool temps but these fronts will not pack any moisture.
