Amtrak Exhibit Train rolling into Santa Fe

Can you hear the sound of a whistle? That’s the Amtrak Exhibit Train coming to the Santa Fe Railyard on Saturday, March 22nd, and train lovers of all ages are invited to climb aboard and tour this unique museum on rails.

Learn about Amtrak’s history and catch a glimpse into the company’s future. Displays include vintage advertising, past menus and dinnerware, period uniforms, photographs, and other items of memorabilia from Amtrak’s creation in 1971. Visitors will also see a model of today’s modern-sleeping accommodations and high-speed rail service displays. Interactive exhibits include railroad horns, trivia questions, workable signals and an engineer’s stand.

Visitors can tour the Amtrak Exhibit train from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
