Warmer Days Ahead…February 12th, 2014 at 9:35 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
A steady westerly flow will result in a continued warming trend across the state. That warming trend will be most pronounced over eastern NM where temps will touch the 80′s by the weekend. here in the Albuquerque area our highs will hit the low 70′s over the weekend.
There is not much to get excited about over the next week or so with no real shot at a storm on the way. The biggest concern is the fact that not only are we dry but we are going to be very warm. That will quickly eat into the snow pack all over the northern mountains.
On the positive side the 8-14 day outlook does knock down our temps in a big way. Let’s just hope we have some precip to go along with the colder temps late next week.
