Warmer But Windy Today…February 8th, 2014 at 6:56 am by chrisgilson under Weather
After a pretty active week of weather in New Mexico things will be a little quieter for the weekend. Dry, westerly flow is going to take control of our weather, which means warmer temps for the weekend. The westerly winds, however, will crank up along parts of the central mountain chain where winds could gust up to 55 mph into Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, a disturbance will be passing to our north for Colorado. So the San Juans of southern Colorado could pick up 8-16″ of snow between Saturday and Monday morning. There’s only a slight chance for some snow in the San Juans of New Mexico over the weekend.
