Changes Close In…January 28th, 2014 at 10:08 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
Temperatures will skyrocket across most areas of NM for the next two days before a stormier pattern takes shape late in the work week and into early next week as well. The eastern half of the state will warm as much as 50° between today’s highs and Thursday’s highs. A one two punch of moisture and weather disturbances will fuel snow over the northern mountains Thu-Sun. Then another deeper system will roll into NM on Monday. This parade of storms will likely result in the first meaningful snow over the northern mountains in over a month.
We could pick up a foot plus in some of west facing slopes.
