Could the Dry Stretch Be Close to Ending?January 19th, 2014 at 9:42 pm by chrisgilson under Weather
The pesky ridge will continue to dominate our weather for this first half of the week. So that of course means more afternoons with above average highs and dry conditions. But, by Wednesday night and Thursday the ridge will break down and potentially allow a storm system to move into parts of the state. There’s still a lot of disagreement between the models, but with each model run it is looking a little more promising.
While it will likely not end our dry stretch here in Albuquerque, it’ll at least help part of the state get out of this rut. More than likely, the Northern Mountains and the Northeast will be favored for any precip.
