Nothing Then Wind Then Nothing…January 10th, 2014 at 10:14 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
A nice day is on the way to wrap the week. Mostly sunny skies will be rule across the state with breezy conditions along the east slopes. Here in the metro temps will top out in the 50′s with much less wind than we had on Friday. However, the calmer winds will not be long lived. Winds will crank back up again on Sunday with gusts topping 50mph in central and eastern sections. We may even pick up a few inches of snow over the high peaks of the northern mtns.
The problem is after this final scraper storm pushes through early Monday then a strong ridge sets in and keeps the state dry through next weekend. Bummer.
