4. APD investigators followed Jeremy Robertson to Rio Rancho where they say he tried to ram a police car which is when the shooting began, Robertson was not wounded, but he was arrested.

3. New Mexico’s Children Youth and Families Department returned $6.6 million of its alloted budget to state coffers, which some democratic lawmakers find disturbing in light staffing-shortages and the recent death of a 9 year old boy.

2. Last month’s massive $656 million dollar Mega-Millions Jackpot helped bolster the New Mexico Lottery Scholarship program, tickets sales jumped 26% in December.
