Warming Up into 2014…

A cold front pushed through the state over the weekend.   The front dropped temperatures in Eastern New Mexico by 20-30° Sunday afternoon.   While the front was rather weak and didn’t have much moisture to work with, some areas did pick up a little bit of snow.   Most areas picked up an inch in the Northern Mountains, but Kachina Peak near Red River did get about 3″

DOPPLERFRIDAY

After temps took a dive on Sunday, they’ll be on the rise for Monday and into New Year’s Eve.   By Tuesday, high temperatures will be at average or even above average.   The mild trend looks to continue into the end of the week with mostly dry conditions for much of the state.
