Drying out with temperatures climbing…

After a couple of systems moved through over the weekend, things will be much quieter for the week ahead.   Dry northwesterly flow is going to take control of our weather for Monday.   This will give us mostly sunny skies to begin the holiday week.

Once we get into Tuesday high temperatures will climb above average for many locations around the state, but a backdoor cold front moves in from the northeast Tuesday night.   This will drop temperatures back to more seasonable highs for Eastern New Mexico by Christmas Day.
