Warming Trend Ahead…

December 13th, 2013 at 8:37 pm by under Weather

A second weak weather system will clip through the state overnight.  This system will pack very little if any moisture but we could pick up a few clouds as it passes.  The bigger storm is the reinforcing shot of cool air that will flow in behind it on Saturday.  This cool air will knock down temps between 5°-10°.  However, temps will quickly rebound Sunday through the first half of next week under sunny skies.  Highs will top out in the low 40′s Saturday, high 40′s Sunday and by next Wednesday we will be in the mid 50′s.

Our next shot at a real storm will be next Friday and Saturday.  Cold air and a strong storm will collide over the state leading to a good chance for snow for the mountains at the very least.
