Good Morning and happy Friday! Here are the five things you need to know be fore you go.

5. The U.S. House passed a budget bill last night that eases some of the across the board spending cuts from the sequester.It’s also supposed to prevent government shut downs until at least 2015. Now it’s heading to the Senate, where it’s expected to pass.
4. Albuquerque’s minimum wage law is about to be challenged in court. A lawyer for the Route 66 Malt Shop says the ordinance is invalid. He says several components of the law, should have been determined by voters separately instead of in one vote. A New Mexico appeals court will be asked to decide.
3.Tonight, both directions of I-25 at Paseo Del Norte will have the two left lanes closed, so be prepared to merge to your right. That’s overnight, this evening, beginning at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Saturday morning.
2. Angel Fire and Sandia Peak Ski resorts are both opening up today.
1. Today you can expect scattered snow showers before noon then a slight chance of rain showers. The skies will be partly sunny, with a high near 45. Light and variable wind will come from the northwest 10 to 15 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is at 40 percent. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 25. North winds will stay around 5 mph.
