Quick Snow Shot?December 12th, 2013 at 8:37 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
There will be a storm heading through the state early Friday morning. We’ve already seen rain showers over southern NM. Most of that rain has dissipated as its moved north through out the day.
A second wave of precip will head in overnight. The models continue to advertise a snow band setting up over the Rio Grande Valley early Friday morning. If this pans out we could pick up some light snow amounts over the metro area. Nothing earth shattering but an inch or so is possible assuming that band sets up. Otherwise look for plenty of clouds early with a spot snow shower or two but nothing real significant.
Skies clear for the weekend with cool temps Saturday warming to seasonal averages by Sunday.
