Storm Moves In Thursday…December 11th, 2013 at 5:10 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
Another winter storm is heading for New Mexico. This storm is a bit warmer than past storms and it will focus much of its precip over the southern half of the state. Showers will begin early Thursday of SW NM in the form of rain. Snow will be possible in higher areas of the Gila Wilderness however. Scattered showers will expand over southern areas on Thursday afternoon. As far as the metro area goes, our best shot to pick up a little snow will be early Friday morning. By later in the day Friday the storm will move out.
The weekend looks pretty quiet with mostly sunny skies and mild temps. There is the potential for another game changing round of cold and another storm late next week.
