Breaking The Cold Snap…December 9th, 2013 at 9:59 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
We will have one more brutally cold night before temps finally start to warm to near seasonal averages. Lows overnight will be in the single digits in most area in the Rio Grande Valley while mountain areas will be as much as -20°. The good news is highs will rebound into the mid 30′s Tuesday afternoon. As we work through the rest of the week temps will continue to rise under partly sunny skies. By Thursday we will top out in the high 40′s.
We will have one moisture starved storm kick through the south on Thursday and Friday but this storm doesn’t look like a major player.
