Bugg Family’s Christmas lights brighten seasonDecember 7th, 2013 at 12:37 pm by Bill Diven under Latest Posts
Albuquerque’s famous Bugg Lights Christmas can now be seen every night until Christmas Eve.
The display lit up 200,000 lights Friday night on the campus of Menaul School at Menaul Boulevard NE and Broadway.
Norman Bugg and his family started the display on the front lawn of their Northeast Heights home in the early 1970s.
It eventually grew so large and drew so much traffic that neighbors complained.
In 2008 the display was given to Menaul School.
