Another Active WeekDecember 2nd, 2013 at 4:42 pm by John Smith under Weather
Another winter storm will close in on New Mexico by midweek. Out ahead of the storm, winds will rip across the state. High Wind Warnings are up for areas just east of the central mountain chain. Gusts here could top 70 mph. Even areas west and central could see gusts up to 55 mph through Wednesday.
Late Wednesday the storm moves in. Snow will develop over the Four Corners and Northern Mountains. A cold front will push through the state from the north Wednesday night. This will drop temperatures for Thursday. Mountain snow and valley mix will continue Thursday as the storm cross northern New Mexico.
The storm clears out early Friday, but the cold air will stick around. Temps slowly rebound late this weekend and early next week.
