Nice Then Another StormNovember 1st, 2013 at 5:13 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
Saturday will no doubt the nicest day of the weekend with a cold start and lows in the 30′s giving way to sunny skies and highs in the low 60′s. By Sunday a weak disturbance will carry in some moisture and lead to isolated showers favoring southern NM. However, a pop up shower is possible just about anywhere.
By Monday things a lot more exciting with a stronger and colder storm approaching from the pacific NW. This system will spread mountain snow and cold valley rain across the area favoring the northern part of the state. Snow and rain will continue through Tuesday before the system departs on Wednesday. This storm has the potential to be a very good mountain snow maker. However, that will depend on the track. More on that throughout the weekend.
