Hardly A “Spooky” ForecastOctober 31st, 2013 at 3:38 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
Very little to report weather wise over the next several days. Mostly sunny skies and cool morning temps will be the rule through the weekend. Highs over the next three days will be in the low 60′s with lows in the 30′s. The only risk for showers over the weekend will be on Sunday. A southerly tap of moisture and a weak weather maker will boost the chances of a shower over the southern tier of the state.
Next week look intriguing weather wise. A broad trough will set up over the mountain west and increase the chance at showers and mountain snow. The big question is what type of track will this system take? Some models move it through the northern part of NM. That would lead to widespread mountain snow. Another model takes it north. This would lead to a little snow and a lot of wind. Stay tuned.
