Very Wet Days Ahead…September 9th, 2013 at 9:49 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
It’s go time for rain in New Mexico. Low pressure to our west and high pressure to our east will pull up remnants of a tropical system to our south. Right now models are indicating some serious rain falling between now and Thursday afternoon. Take a look at these rainfall totals through the end of the week.
I wouldn’t get too hung up on the exact amounts but the overall pattern is very good for soaking rain in western and central sections of the state. The biggest rain days will likely be Tue, Wed, Thu. By Friday drier air will work in. Then over the weekend we will pick up our garden variety storms thanks to remaining moisture and the heat of the day.
