Time now for the 5 things you need to know before you go this morning!

5) A huge new scoreboard at UNM’s University Stadium is now under construction. It’ll be 32 feet wide…80 feet tall…and should be ready for the first home game on August 31st.

3) The downside to all the rain we’ve gotten…swarms of mosquitoes and West Nile virus. A 13 year old in San Juan County is the first person to be confirmed to get the virus in New Mexico this year. Keep standing water away from your home and use bug spray to be safe.

2) The latest on the power outages in and around Albuquerque. PNM now says 99% of customers who lost power in Friday night’s storm have it back..and that just 194 homes and businesses don’t have the lights on right now.

1) It’s gonna be a hot day…It’ll be sunny, with a high near 92. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Then tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 66 and a northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light north after midnight.
