Some Changes Ahead for the Upcoming Week…July 28th, 2013 at 3:39 pm by chrisgilson under Weather
Storm chances will be going down over the next few days. There’s a slight chance for some spot storms over the Northern Mountains and Northeast New Mexico over the next few days. Our chances for storms will be going down thanks to westerly flow that will be ushering in drier air. This will also allow temperatures to heat back up into the 90s in the Metro and the triple digit heat will return for Southeast New Mexico.
But, this drier pattern won’t last for long. It looks like by Thursday southerly flow will return and pump in more moisture by the end of the week. This will give us a better chance for more scattered storms.
