Intense thunderstorm cells now rapidly developing in Socorro county. These cells are drifting northwest at less than 5 mph.

Winds in excess of 80 mph in #ABQ metro have been recorded with this cell over the city. Rainfall will be in excess of 2″ again. #nmwx


Flooding biggest issue. Winds could well damage roofs but flooding from this given last night will be devastating.


Torrential rain, flooding, hail and possible funnel with this storm. Stay inside flooding remains biggest threat. #nmwx #flood

    Thank you, please keep constant updates on the site. We are no longer retrieving t.v. connections so cannot see any reports going on from home. only through internet as long as this connection remains.

    I understand that this storm is a big one and it is important to get the news out HOWEVER if you are going to interrupt programming, why can’t you break I during a commercial. Ron also needs to limit how many times he repeats the same message over and over and over.
