More Storms or More Disappointment?July 16th, 2013 at 9:20 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
After a disappointing couple of days storm wise across the Albuquerque area will continue to see the chance for scattered showers. However the best opportunity for rain will be seen across Eastern and especially southern sections of New Mexico. A low pressure system will continue to back through the state and eventually slide to our Southwest providing the focus for storms across the southern mountains and across southeastern New Mexico as well. Temperatures will stay well below average for this time of year mainly in the 80s.
The chance for showers will continue into the weekend in a scattered fashion across most of the state. Into next week high-pressure eventually shifts to our east and that could open up the more classic monsoon flow pattern. Anyway you cut it still going to be a pretty decent set up for picking up scattered showers across the state.
