4. It’s back to work for the U.S. Senate when it comes to keeping federal student loan interest from doubling. The Senate rejected a plan to do that yesterday. That could cost current college students a couple extra thousand dollars.

3. A lot of attention’s going to be in Florida this morning where a jury could get the case of George Zimmerman who is accused of killing an unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman says it was self defense.

2. It’s going to be a huge day in the Levi Chavez trial because there’s a good chance the jury will get the case today. He’s the former APD cop accused of killing his wife Tera. Chavez claims she committed suicide. Court starts at 10 this morning and you can watch it live right here at KRQE.com.

1. We could see some more rain today. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are in store with a 20% chance of precipitation. We will have partly sunny skies, with a high near 94 and south wind 5 to 10 mph. Tonight calls for more scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight with a 30% chance of precipitation. It will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 68 and southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
