Kids can get up close to dino bonesJune 28th, 2013 at 11:49 am by Elizabeth Alvarez under News
The “Discover the Dinosaurs” exhibit is roaring into action at the Albuquerque Convention Center downtown.
The hands-on exhibit, which is traveling across the country, includes museum-quality dinosaur replicas. Kids are encouraged to get up close and touch some of the dinosaurs, an uncommon experience at most museums.
“Discover the Dinosaurs” is open from noon to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets are $17 for adults, $15 for seniors and $12 for kids. According to the Albuquerque Convention Center website, all visitors will be able to see and participate in the dinosaur exhibit, dino dig, dino den, dino theater, dino coloring station and a scavenger hunt. With an exhibit-plus ticket, for $20, children also get unlimited dinosaur rides, mini golf and can play on inflatables.
The Albuquerque Convention Center is located at 401 Second Street. For more information, call 505-768-4575.
