A Record Breaking Day For New Mexico…

June 27th, 2013 at 9:49 pm by under Weather

Albuquerque set a new record high of 105° on Thursday breaking the old record of 104° set back in 1994.   Tucumcari, Santa Fe, Farmington, and Socorro also set record high temps.  It’s going to be another hot one on Friday before temps slowly drop back into the 90s for the weekend then the upper 80s by next Monday in Albuquerque.  We’ll see a chance for scattered showers for the state this weekend and that added moisture will take the edge off the extreme heat.
