5. Lobo fans and more will be keeping a very close eye on Tony Snell today because it’s finally time for the NBA draft. Most analysts have him going late in the first round or early in the second.

4. It could be a huge day for Immigration Reform. As soon as this afternoon the senate could vote on a historic immigration plan that would tighten border security and allow a path to citizenship for people here illegally.

3. There is no new gun control in Santa Fe. Late last night the city council rejected a plan to stop people from buying magazines with more than 10 bullets. They say it would be hard to enforce and may not be constitutional.

2. The big question today is what will happen with gay marriage in New Mexico? One case is already being taken to the State Supreme Court and it could decide on the issue or we all could vote on it with a Constitutional Amendment.

1. It’s going to be another hot day. It will be mostly sunny with high between 99 and 104. It will cool off a bit tonight with lows in the mid 60s to lower 70s.
