Moisture Supply Going Down…June 6th, 2013 at 3:17 pm by chrisgilson under Weather
There’s still a decent shot at some hit or miss t-storms on Friday, but it won’t be nearly as good of a chance compared to what we had on Thursday. The best chance for storms will be over the North and in Eastern New Mexico. But, drier air is going to start moving back in on Friday and by Saturday we will be drying out fast. There’s only a slight chance for some isolated storms over the Northern Mountains and in the Northeast by Saturday. Relative humidity values will be dropping over the weekend. This is bad news for firefighters battling the wildfires. Plus, lower humidity values also mean temperatures will begin to sky rocket. So by Sunday much of the state will be sweltering with dry conditions.
