Hot and Dry Weather Holds OnMay 29th, 2013 at 5:22 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
Warm and dry weather will continue across New Mexico over the next four days. We can expect temperatures to top out in the mid to high 80s with mostly sunny skies. Gusty winds remain a factor in the forecast for at least the next 24 to 48 hours. Wind gusts could top 45 miles an hour across eastern New Mexico through Thursday.
Expect fire danger to remain very high over the next three days as well. Our best chance for moisture will hold off until Sunday. On Sunday some Gulf moisture may creep its way into eastern New Mexico fueling thunderstorms and maybe an occasional shower here in the metro area.
