Drying Out….

The moisture that has been hanging out in Eastern New Mexico sparking t-storms during the afternoon is going to be pushed out by drier air.  There’s only a slim chance for an isolated storm along the New Mexico/Texas border.  West, southwesterly flow will push the dry air back into the state tomorrow and by Sunday all of us will be dry with a high fire danger on Memorial Day.

A low pressure system looks to move into the region Tuesday night into Wednesday.  That could give us a small chance for some spot showers, but the bigger story will be cooler temperatures.  It’ll still be mild, but slightly below average by the middle of the week.  It won’t be a drastic cool down!  We’ll keep you posted.
