Law enforcement are reminding drivers to buckle up this summer.

Officers will begin their summer Click-it or Ticket campaign – looking for anyone on the road not wearing seatbelts.

Officials say teenagers and young adults are the group who are most often found to not wear seatbelts.

The Governor’s office says 78 people have died in traffic crashes this year on New Mexico roads, many of those people were not buckled up.

This shouldn’t be something you have campaigns for. You need to enforce this every hour of every day of the year.
