The statewide average for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in New Mexico is now $3.63, according to the AAA New Mexico Weekend Gas Watch. That price is seven cents more than last week and 24 cents more than last month, but it is three cents less than last year.

Of the major metropolitan areas surveyed, Albuquerque has the highest gas price average at $3.64 and Las Cruces has the lowest at $3.51. The average price in the Land of Enchantment is three cents less than the national average which now sits at $3.66.
