NM Disaster Medical Alert Team heads to OK

New Mexico’s Disaster Medical Alert Team is headed to Moore Oklahoma after a tornado caused massive destruction Monday.

The 26 member team includes six medical, IT and security specialists from UNMH. They will join a 46 member team from New Mexico, Colorado and Texas.

The NM DMAT is set to arrive in Oklahoma City around 1 p.m.

Their deployment could last two weeks.
