Wind, Cold and Maybe A Little Snow…May 1st, 2013 at 5:25 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
A cold storm dropping down from Colorado will spread very windy conditions and temps that are well below average for this time of year. Winds ramp up to gusts of 55 mph here in the city overnight. the winds will continue to rip through early Thursday before dying down. Tomorrows highs will top out in the mid 50′s with sunny skies.
As far as snow goes most of the snow will be confined to the east slopes of the northern mountains and NE highlands. 1″-3″ will be possible over the Sangre de Cristo mtns. By early Thursday snow will clear and the sun will emerge.
Temps will slowly rebound through the weekend with another series of storms possible by the beginning of next week.
