One More Very Warm Day…

April 29th, 2013 at 5:17 pm by under Weather

Near record heat for late April will be blanketed over the state on Tuesday.  Highs in the metro area will top out in the high 80′s.  Southeastern NM will top out in the 90′s with mostly sunny skies.  The warm temps will end quickly however, as yet another storm passes to our north.

Temps on Wednesday will be 5°-10° colder with the chance of showers over the NE and northern mountains.  Winds will crank up as well.  Then Thursday temps will crater statewide with highs barely getting into the 60′s in the metro and some areas of the northern mountains will only be in the 40′s.

By the weekend temps will slowly rebound but the good times could once again come to crashing halt as another storm takes aim on the SW at the beginning of next week.
