Changes On The Way…

Temperatures will be 10-20 above average on Monday and Tuesday.  Westerly flow will get stronger over the next two days so that’s one reason why temperatures will continue to climb well above normal highs.  But, the warm up won’t last too much longer.

On Tuesday, the winds will pick up ahead of two cold fronts that will move into New Mexico.  One will be a back door front while the other will come in from the Northwest.  The fronts will cause our temperatures to plummet!

The Northeast will experience the biggest drop.  Temperatures there will drop almost 40 degrees by Wednesday!  Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like these fronts will give us much in the way of rain.  The Northern Mountains and the Northeast have the best chance to pick up precip.
