Another April Storm…April 16th, 2013 at 10:31 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
Temps will crater tomorrow with highs 20° colder than today. In the ABQ metro areas highs will be in the low 60′s with winds up to 40 mph and blowing dust. Precip will be limited to the northern mountains late in the day and tomorrow night. The favored areas over will be the west slopes of the mountains Wed evening. Then early Thursday snow will develop over the east slopes.
The big story statewide on Thursday won’t be snow though it will be the temperatures. Highs will not escape the 40′s here in the city. We may even drop below freezing early Friday morning. However, temps will rebound as we head into the weekend with mostly sunny skies.
