Let the Warm Up Commence!April 11th, 2013 at 4:03 pm by John Smith under Weather
After seeing beneficial rainfall and snow fall during the first part of the week, the end of the week will feature drier and warmer conditions.
Spot showers will remain possible across the northern part of the state Friday, especially over the Northern Mountains. However, most will stay dry with only passing clouds.
By the weekend, skies will start to clear. Expect more sunshine and even warmer temperatures. Afternoon highs will warm to 5° – 10° above average for this time of year. Highs will reach the 60s across the north, the 70s in the metro, and the 80s in the southeast!
The next storm will approach the state toward the middle of next week. The best chance for showers will be across the north, though central locations could pick up a spot shower. Temperatures will continue to stay on the warm side throughout much of next week!
