Strong Winds & Much Colder Temps….

A strong area of low pressure is going to move into New Mexico Monday night into Tuesday.  Out ahead of the storm system our winds will be really strong out of the Southwest with gusts up to 60 mph.  So there’s a high fire danger for your Monday.

The storm system will push a cold front across the state and it’ll trigger some t-storms then snow shower over the Northwest and in Southern Colorado Monday night.  Much of the state will have a chance for shower, but most of the moisture will stay to our north.  So the Northern Mountains and Southern Colorado have the best chance for picking up a decent amount of precip with this system.  The Northern Mountains could pick up 5-10″ of snow in the higher elevations through Wednesday night!
