Quick Hitting Storm…April 2nd, 2013 at 5:13 pm by Mark Ronchetti under Weather
A relatively weak storm will pass through northern NM in the next 24 hrs. This system will spread valley mixes and high elevation snow over the NE quadrant of the state. The rest of NM will see a chance for scattered showers through early Wednesday before the system clears the state. The mountains could pick up 2″-5″ above 9,000′. Areas like the Raton Ridge and the NE highlands could pick up an inch or two as well.
By Thursday temps will rebound quickly back into the 70′s with sunny skies. Temps will continue to rise on Friday but winds will crank up as well. No major storm action until the beginning of next week.
