More Wind on the WayMarch 21st, 2013 at 4:42 pm by John Smith under Weather
Winds will be the big story over the next couple of days as storm systems continue to pass north. Friday will feature temperatures just a few degrees cooler with winds similar to those seen on Thursday. Then Saturday the storm dives into Colorado. Most of the precip will stay north of the state, but the northern mountains and northeast could possibly see a few showers. Much of the state will deal with big time winds with gusts in the metro possibly up to 45-50 mph. Temps will also nosedive to well below average for this time of the year. By Sunday, temps will be 15° – 20° below average. The good news is that temps will slowly rebound into early next week.
