AT&T activates 4G cell site in ABQ

AT&T today announced the activation of a new 4G mobile Internet cell site in Albuquerque that will enhance coverage for area residents and businesses.

The new cell site in Albuquerque is designed to enhance 4G coverage for residents and businesses in the area around the intersection of Eubank and Paseo Del Norte Boulevards.

AT&T invested nearly $175 million in its New Mexico wireless and wireline networks from 2009 through 2012, with a focus on expanding 4G mobile Internet coverage and enhancing the overall performance of its networks.

    Funny how even Viet Nam has had nationwide 4G at 1/3 the price of US 3G service for YEARS. We are SO far behind in this country.

    How can we spend on infrastructure unless we can subcontract it out to Halliburton after determining the ongoing consumer ripoff to be a terrorist threat? If we paid less, why there’d be less sales tax for the government to tun on.
