Record Warmth for Friday…March 14th, 2013 at 4:52 pm by Mark Ronchetti under News
Temperatures on Friday will climb into the 70s and 80s for many areas. But, for places in the east and southeast temperatures will reach the upper 80s to even 90s degrees. The near record warmth is thanks to a westerly flow, but by the weekend there will be some changes.
A system will graze New Mexico with the center of the storm mainly staying off to the north of us. But, some extra clouds, slightly cooler temps and breezy conditions will move into the region thanks to the disturbance.
Even though the storm system will move out the region by Monday, winds will stay on the strong side. Temperatures won’t be as warm, but still mild with highs in the 60s and lowers 70s for early next week.
